Maria Vivian Robb was born on November 25, 1875 in Nobleton, King, York, Ontario, Canada, daughter of David Robb (1843–1884) and Martha Pringle (1851–1927).
Maria (26) married Robert White (30) (born on June 7, 1872 in King; son of Robert White and Mary Jane (Simpson) White) on June 25, 1902 in Nobleton, South Riding. [1] Their children were:
- Gerald Lennox White (1904–1955)
- John Verner White (1908– )
- James Merville White (1912–1931)
In 1911, Maria (35) was living in York Centre Sub-Districts 1-42, Ontario. [2]
Maria died on July 12, 1946 in Toronto, York, aged 70.
Research Notes
Maria’s middle name is recorded as Vivian on James birth record, but as Susan on her marriage record. Finding the original birth registration would determine which is the official one, but, until then, we will use the first recorded one, Susan.
