Biography
Jonas Robbins was born on 3 Jul 1714 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts, son of Capt. John Robbins (1673 - 1762) and Dorothy (Hildreth) Robbins (~1672 - ~1757).[1]
His siblings were:
- Elizabeth (Robbins) Fletcher (1700 - 1788)
- Eleanor (Robbins) Heald (1707 - 1791)
- John Robbins (1710 - 1775)
- Marcy (Robbins) Heald (1717 - 1802)
He (23) married Mary Heald (18) (1719 - 1794) on 24 May 1738 in Concord, Mass.[2]
Their children were:
- Sarah (Robbins) Wright (1739 - >1780)
- Mary (Robbins) Proctor (1742 - 1773)
- Azubah (Robbins) Proctor (1749 - 1826)
- Lydia (Robbins) Proctor (1751 - 1817).
Jonas passed away on 25 Feb 1775 in Chelmsford aged 60. He is buried in Forefathers Burial Ground, Chelmsford.[3]
