↑ 1836 & 1837 Overton County Tax List; In these years, Arthur does not appear among his brothers James, Preston & Alfred indicating that he was not yet 21. If he had attained said milestone regardless of his land status, he would have been levied a poll tax as his brother Alfred was in 1836. As such, this indicates he was born after 1817 thus removing any validity to the contention that he and Alfred were twins.

I'm not sure how to add anything on the edit button but Arter and Mary "Pops" Winningham Robbins also had a daughter, Nancy Robbins Gunter (1845-1896), my great great grandmother. This is documented through my First Families of Tennessee application (Moses Poor). Thank you, Tony Anderson
I’ve just added Nancy Robbins Gunter and will work on her profile adding father, mother siblings. I’d love to add you as a trusted source, then you can add more family history!
