Biography

Clara V. was born in 1861.

In the 1870 census, she is living in Tyaskin with her father James M. Roberts (age 40) and mother Olivia H. (or A. in 1880 clear an H) (age 26). Clara V. was 9, William J. (age 6), Preston L (age 3), and a 3 month old infant. James was a farmer.

In the 1880 census, Clara V. is now 19. There are now a total of 7 children. Lauretta M. (age 10), Olivia E. (age 6), Henry W. (age 4), John B. (age 1). Everyone was going to school except Clara V.. Her father was now a huckster.

By 1900, Clara V. was married for 18 years and had thee children with John A. Insley.

In 1940, she was living with her son-in-law Buckler-360 and daughter Insley-180.
