Biography

Walter Dennis Roberts was born in Garden City, Kansas^[1] on the 8th of September, 1909^{[1] [2]} to William Roberts^[3][4][5] and Katherine Olive Doughty^[3][5]. It is believed the siblings were Nettie, Elmer, Alice, Gladys, Walter, Edith, and Delbert.

In 1910 he(0) is living on Cambridge Road, Coyote, Lane County, Oregon with his parents William S(44) and Kate O(34). The children in the home were listed as Nettie(17), Elmber(10), Alice98), Gladys(7), and Walter(0)^[6]

In 1920 he is now living on Lincoln street in Ward 3, Eugene, Lane County, Oregon with his mother Kate(44). The children listed in the home were Elmer(20), Walter(10), Edith(7), Delbert(4). Invitations have been received for the wedding of Miss Nina Allison Schleiger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Schleiger of Portland, and Watler Dennis Roberts, son of W.s. Roberts of Eugene. The wedding will be March 21 in Portland. Mr. Roberts lived here a greater part of his life and attended Eugene high school.

He died on the 3rd of April, 1977^[16] in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon^[2] and would be buried in the West Lawn Memorial Poark in Eugene, Lane county, Oregon^[17]
