Died 18 MAY 1897. [5] [6] Note: In his sister Edith's obituary in 1917, it indicates that she has four living sisters and one living brother. Since we know Willis died in 1918, it leads to the conclusion that H. Alfred had already passed away. In the 1900 census Mellis is listed as a widow.
