Biography

James Robinson lived in Whanganui, Manawatū-Whanganui, New Zealand.

James was born about 1856. ^[1] He was the son of Mr & Mrs Charles Robinson. He was born in Wanganui and lived there all his life. He conducted a carrying business for more than 50 years. ^[2]

In 1878 in New Zealand, he married Martha Nicholls, who had recently arrived from London via Hobart, Tasmania. ^[3]

He passed away 20 June 1938 age 81 or 82 at his residence, 14 Church Place, Whanganui, and was buried at Wanganui Old Catholic Cemetery. ^{[4] [5] [6] [2]}
