Biography

Martha "Mattie" Lee Robinson was born February 19, 1893 in York County, South Carolina, United States to parents [Robinson-41169|Robert Robinson]] and Annie Walker . ^[1]

Martha married William Lee Bradley at some point between 1910 and 1920 as she was living with her parents on the first Census and in the home as a wife with no children yet on the 1920 Census.^[2] They'd have their first son that year and several more children together including:

1. Hamilton Franklin (1920 - 2009)^[3]
2. William James (1922 - 2009)^[4]
3. Annie Lois (1924 - 2003)^[5]
4. Thomas Eli (1926 - 2017)^[6]
5. Lewis Herman (1928 - 1991)^[7]

Mattie passed away in Gaston County, North Carolina on June 12, 1975 (82 yrs) from "acute Congestive Heart Failure" attributed in large part to "arteriosclerosis"^[8]. Her body was interred on June 14, 1975^[9] at Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery of

Gastonia.^[10]
