Biography

James Robinson was born in Lancashire, England.

James was born about 1830. He was the son of William Robinson.

He married Mary Disley in 1847 and the marriage was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1847 in the Bolton district.^[1] and in 1851 they were living in Grime Street Bolton and James 21, was working as a Metal Turner. ^[2]

They had at least 4 children, but Mary died in early 1860 and James married a second time to Adelaide Greenhalgh on 24 November 1860 at St Paul's Church, Bury, Lancashire. ^[3] In 1861 James 31, Iron Turner was living in Peel Street, Bury with his 4 children and new wife Adelaide 30, ^[4] and in 1871^[5] and 1881 they were in Bolton. ^[6] James had at least 4 more children with Adelaide.

He died in 1893 and was buried in Heaton Cemetery, Bolton, with a death date of 2 August 1893.^[7]
