Joseph William ROBLEY was born on 24 January 1849 in Colony of New South Wales^[1]. His parents were Joseph ROBLEY and Helen MELTON.

Sarah HAYES and Joseph William ROBLEY were married on 15 May 1877 in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia^[2].

DEATH AT GLADESVILLE.

LATE MR. J. ROBLEY.

Mr. Joseph Robley died at his residence in Gladesville on Monday. The deceased, who was 74 years of age, was a resident of Lithgow for 20 years, during which time he had been employed on the permanent way department of the railway. He retired about eight years ago, and later went to live in Sydney.

He is survived by six sons and one daughter. The body was brought from Sydney by train and interred in Bowenfels cemetery, beside that of Mrs. Robley, who died ten years previously. The Rev. G. Knox Read officiated at the graveside.
