Biography

Jake Roddy Jr. is a part of US Black heritage.

Jake was born in 1917. He was the son of Jake Roddy and Huletta Lang. In the 1920 census J (age 2), None, was the single son of Jake Roddy in Justice Precinct 6, Falls, Texas.^[1] In the 1930 census J (age 11) was the single son of Luretta Roddy in Precinct 1, Falls, Texas, United States.^[2] Jake was in a military record on 16 October 1940 in Clovis, Curry, New Mexico, United States.^[3]

Jake died (age 61) in February 1979.^[4] He was buried at Mission Garden of Memories Cemetery, Clovis, Curry County, New Mexico.^[5]
