Dominique Eustache Rodriguez was born on September 20, 1818 in Plattenville, Assumption, Louisiana, United States, son of Domingo Francisco Rodriguez (~1788–1849) and Sebastiana Acosta (~1781–1859).[1]
Dominique (29) married Olésida Simoneaux (14) (born on March 20, 1833 in Plattenville; daughter of Joseph Huberto Simoneau and Marie Carmelite (Marrois) Marois) on February 28, 1848 in Assumption.[2] [3] Their children were:
- Ernest Ignace Rodriguez (1859–1930)
- Louis Oscar Rodriguez (1872–1899)[4]
