Biography

Evelyn (Roesch)Henderson, age 98, beloved wife of the late Walter Henderson passed away peacefully on April 10, 2013 at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center. She was born in NY on June 30, 1914, daughter of the late Mathilda and George Roesch and was a resident of Stratford most of her life. She was retired from the Stratford Library where she was employed for 23 years as the reference librarian. She was a member of the Stratford Senior Center and the Shelton Senior Center. She will be sadly missed by her two loving sons and their wives in Huntington, Walter and Barbara and Robert and Barbara; six grandchildren Jeffrey, William, David, Deborah Olsen and her husband Peter, Jenifer Brouard and her husband Louis, Susanne Reilly and her husband Brian; and eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Kimberly Phillips and her cousin Beatrice York . Funeral services were private. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements in care of the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull.
