ROGERS, Lester W.

Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on May 19, 2005, Lester W. Rogers, of Centreville, age 83 years. Predeceased by his wife, Margorie; parents, Edgar Charles and Hannah Rogers; son-in-law, Morgan Lockyer; sister-in-law, Tryphenia Rogers; and brother-in-law, Clarence Pickett. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are one son, Kevin (Maisie) of Centreville; three daughters, Gladys Pike (Don) of Woody Point, Bonne Bay, Emma Brown (Jeffrey) of Centreville and Marie Lockyer of Fort McMurray; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald and one sister, Ethel Pickett, both of Centreville; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held on May 22nd at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville with Rev. Sam Rose officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Centreville. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Barnabas Anglican Church Cemetery Fund, Centreville. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Musgrave Harbour-Pound Cove.
