Mary Ann Roker was born in the Bahama Islands to Thomas Roker and Susannah Lake Roker sometime in the late 1780s - early 1790s.
She married Richard T Barnett in 1824 in the Bahamas. This date was noted in the 1825 Bahamas Slave Registration - Richard T Barnett indicated he had acquired 12 slaves from his marriage to Mary Ann Roker in 1824.
