- "ROSE, James Garfield - April 6, 1957, at his residence, Bundanoon, beloved husband of Vera, loved father of Jean and Don, father-in-law of Bettie and Harold, grandfather of William and Elizabeth, aged 66 years." He was buried at Bundanoon (Methodist Section Row 1, Plot 11).
