DAVIS - Pauline Rosebrough, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2002. She was born December 12, 1908 in Izard
County, AR, USA and was the second child of Oscar and Roxy Rosebrough. She loved to travel and in her early years
lived in Oklahoma City, California and New York City. A Tulsa resident since 1954; she was also a retired employee of
the Tulsa Water Department.
She had always enjoyed her church life and had been an active member of the West Park Presbyterian Church in New
York City and their missionary society. In Tulsa for 48 years she was a member of Yale Avenue Presbyterian Church
and their women's associations. Her greatest passion was for her family and her creativity was expressed in her love
for gardening. She was a member and officer of Sunny Crest and White City Garden Clubs and the Tulsa Garden
Center. For many years, she also volunteered at Senior Citizens Centers and worked with the handicapped. She
stayed active to the end, traveling, entertaining, working on creative projects and her beloved canasta group. Her
enormous energy, devotion to family and friends and love of life has been felt by all who knew her. Survived by her 3
sons, Edmund P. Davis, Pasadena, TX, Wallace A. Davis, Austin, TX, Stephen W. Davis, Tulsa, Tulsa County, OK; and
daughter Barbara Davis Kacin, Stamford, CT, USA. Also survived by : 3 sisters, Wilma Mize, Turlock, CA, USA, Sylvia
Groblebe, Houston, TX, Opal Ely, Abilene, TX; and 5 grandchildren, James Blake Davis, Arcadia, CA, USA, Kristen Davis,
West Hollywood, CA, USA, Edmund Alexander Davis, San Jose, CA, USA, Stewart Allan Davis, Tulsa, Tulsa County,
OK, Bryan Davis, Allen, TX; 1 great-grandchild, Saffron Sky MacDonald, West Hollywood, CA, USA. Service 10:00 a.m.,
Wednesday, Yale Avenue Presbyterian Church, Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 918-622-1155.
