Biography

James was born in 1884 in Ballydown, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the son of Robert Ross and Abigail McAuley. The informant was Esther McCauley of Gransha, Islandmagee.[1] He was baptised on 20-Jan-1885 in 1st Islandmagee Presbyterian Church.[2]
