Elmer Glenn Rouse Sr was born on 22 Feb 1905 in Richmond, Ontario County, New York, United States, son of James Floyd Rouse Sr (1870–1950) and Zula Ann (Benton) Rouse (1865–1936).[1]

Elmer died on 7 Oct 2001 in Dansville, Livingston County, New York, aged 96. He was buried in Mount Morris City Cemetery, Mount Morris, Livingston County, New York.[1]

The Naples News Naples, Ontario County, New York. Wednesday, June 2, 1920

The fifteen year old son of James Rouse was found unconscious on the iron bridge over the Stuart Gull last Sunday. It is believed that he was hit by an automobile and that the driver did not stop to see what he had done. Springwater Enterprise.
