Biography
Joshua Rowe was born 8 July 1758, the son of Jonathan Rowe and Alice Escott, Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts.
Joshua was a Privare with several of his brothers, in Captain John Rowe's company that marched from Gloucester to Breed's Hill twelth to sixteenth of June 1775..
He married Mary Ayer (1764-1856), the daughter of Gilbert Ayer and Mary Goodrich (1stbwife) in April 1785 in Lincoln, Maine. They had at least:
