Rowlett-131 and Rowlett-84 appear to represent the same person because: I am sorry to bother you. Could you please consider this merge again? They are married to the same woman and they died in the same year.

I agree that Rowlett-84 and Rowlett-131 appear to represent the same person. It is known that the Benjamin Rowlett of Callaway County, KY who was the father of Matilda Rowlett Acree was the husband of Rachel Wiseheart and the father of the children listed on Rowlett-131. I have never seen the middle name Rufus mentioned in any research about him. I am a descendant of his son Laban Rowlett and am interested in collaborating with other researchers.

Rowlett-131 and Rowlett-84 are not ready to be merged because: Some of the dates are not entirely clear and ditto for birth location; Rowlett-131 is much-more-fully sourced than Rowlett-84; They seem to be the same person, but need documented/sourced data for accuracy.

Benjamin left a nuncuperative (dictated) will in Callaway County, KY. In that will he mentioned sons D.L (Daniel Leon) B. C. ( Benjamin Caswell), G. W. (or G. M.) step son John Wimberly, son J.P. (Joseph Putnam) and daughter Matilda Acree. His step-Daughter Laurena Wimberly married a nephew Vincent Di Vivaldi Rowlett. Land records of Callaway County show another son Laban H. Rowlett who was not living in the area when Benjamin died.
