Biography

Phineas Rowley, the son of Jabez and Tabitha Rowley, was born on 7 Oct 1729 in Colchester Township, New London, Connecticut..[1] He married Abigail Kelsey and they had seven known children: Zedemia (Demmis), Lois, Lodema, Rachel, Temperence, Perez, Theodore (Terry), and William Rowley.

If he passed away in 1772, then his will could not have been dated in 1779. It was probably his inventory or the date his will was posthumously filed that was dated 1779.
