Biography
Leger Roy was born about 1822, probably in Beauceville, Bas-Canada. He was the son of Jean Baptiste Roi and Suzanne Rancourt.
At about age 21 Leger, a farmer, married Marie Gagne on 20 Nov 1843 in Saint-François-d'Assise parish in Beauceville. There was at least one known child born into this marriage
Leger Roy's death date and place is unknown at this time.
