Biography

Walter was born in 1871. He is the son of Russell Royal and Almeda Sibley.

Walter married Lizzie Harvey on Aug 11, 1895 in Patten, Maine.^[1]

He died in 1953 and is buried at Coombs Mills Cemetery Augusta, Maine.^[2]

Obituary

Walter R. Royal; Vassalboro - Walter R. Royal, 82, died unexpectedly at his home on Riverside Drive here late Wednesday evening. He was born in Crystal, Sept. 18, 1871, son of Russell and Almeda Sibley Royal. He had been a resident here for 34 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Harvey Royal; a daughter, Mrs. Theda Royal Parker, both of Vassalboro; one sister, Mrs. Bearl Black of Everett, Wash. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Royal was a member of Cushnoc Grange. Friends may call at Plummer's funeral home, Augusta, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10.30 a.m.^[3]
