Mrs. Van Hornbeck, Liberty Entered into Eternal Rest Tuesday, May 31, 1966.
Mrs. Marion Royce Hornbeck of 126 Dwyer Ave. in Liberty died Tuesday at her home. She was 79.
Mrs. Hornbeck was born July 17, 1886, in DeBruce, the daughter of William F. Royce and Elizabeth Cooper Royce. She is the widow of Van Hornbeck.
Mrs. Hornbeck was a member of the Monticello Presbyterian Church and its needlecraft club, the Kiamesha chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years, and the Monticello Women's Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John Boyd of Liberty; two sons, Lt. Col. (Ret.) David S. Hornbeck of Sacramento, Calif. and Robert E. Hornbeck of Warwick, RI; a brother, David W. Royce of Seneca Falls; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2pm from the Monticello Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. William A. Crawford will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Ridge Cemetery, Monticello.
Friends may call at Curley Funeral Home in Monticello today and Friday from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7:30 to 9:30.
