David was born on May 28, 1703 to John Royce and Sarah Perigo in Mansfield, Connecticut.^[1]

David married Hannah Hall in Connecticut.^[2]

He passed away in 1759, from a kick of a horse, and is buried in the Old Storrs Cemetery, Storrs, Tolland County, Connecticut.^[3]
