Biography

Frederick Rudd was born in 1887 in Fakenham, Norfolk[1]. He was the son of Page Rudd and Mary Ann Artherton.

In 1911 he married Lizzie Hayman in Burnley, Lancashire,[2] and they had 2 children: Thomas Walter (b.1913, d.1997) and Evelyn (b.1916, d.1988).

After Lizzie's death in 1916 Frederick married Mary Agnes Clachrie in Blackburn, Lancashire, later in the same year[3] and they had a further 4 children: James Clachrie (b.1919, d.1919), Arthur Donald (b.1921, d.1921), Eunice Margaret (b.1925) and Joseph (b.1930).

Frederick died in 1957 in Bolton, Lancashire[4] and was cremated at Overdale Crematorium in Bolton[5].
