Biography

US Black Heritage Project
John Rudd is a part of US Black heritage.
John was born in 1866 to former slaves, Charles Henry Rudd and Jemima Patterson. He married Dorothea Patterson in 1908. They married late in life and I don't believe there were any children from this union.

Service ended: 29 Apr 1918

John served in the Army during WW1 as a Captain in the Infantry.

He passed away in 1934 and is buried in the Saint Bernard Cemetery, in Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.[1]
