Biography
Carlie Louise Ashby Russell's sister Agnes Marguerite Russell writes: "Bill (her brother) had gone to the U.S.A. the year before and lived in Boston...the next year Dotsie (sister Carlie) went to Boston. Daisy Shilstone went on board with her and introduced her to George Ince, who was going to N.Y. to his brother. George and Dotsie fell in love...soon George and Dotsie moved to N.Y." Agnes also stated that Carlie Louise Ashby Russell was born in Nevis.
