Biography
1838 January 14-23 Cornelius Sammons served 10 days in the First Regiment of the Lincoln Militia of Upper Canada & was paid.
1851 Quebec census: "C. Sammons" age 70, lives with widowed-and-remarried Irish-born daughter-in-law Mary Madigan age 30 & her husband Victor Murray, the 4 children ages 8, 6, 3 (John 'Murray') & 1. In the household is male Denis (?) Sammon, age 40, born Ireland.
1852 June 30 made will benefitting his son John Salmon's widow Mary Madigan; now remarried to Victor Murray.
1852 July 2 died
