Gallienne and the late Hazel B. Moddle and grandmother Mrs. Leone Miller and Mr. Marvyn Moddle. Funeral services will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Huntington, Long Island, N.Y., on Friday (16 Nov). Interment Huntington Rural Cemetery. 

The Long-Islander., November 15, 1951, Page 8 Leonida Samms Gallienne, a resident of Huntington for many years, died November 13 in Baltimore, Md. where she resided at 2704 North Culvert Street. Funeral services will be held In Huntington Friday morning at 10 o' clock from the Connell Funeral Parlors on New York Avenue, with the Rev. Dr. William S. Hess of the Flint Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in the Huntington Rural Cemetery. Mrs Gallienne was born in Huntington 76 years ago this year, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Joseph Sammis of Huntington. She married Frederick Gallienne In 1891 [sic] and he did 15 years ago. She Is survived hy one son Frederick of Baltimore: one daughter Mrs Pearl L'Hommedieu of Huntington: flve grand children in Huntington and two In Baltimore; ten great grand- children; one brother Thomas Sammis of Huntington; and two sisters, Mrs Estelle Priester of Huntington and Mrs Edward Grosjean of Irvington, N.J.
