Elizabeth (Sanderson) Maw (bef. 1829 - 1903)

Biography

Elizabeth was born in Spaldington, Yorkshire, England, and was baptised nearby in Bubwith. She was the daughter of George and Maria Sanderson.^[1] In 1841 the family lived in Hook, Yorkshire.^[2]

At the time of the 1851 census Elizabeth worked as a domestic servant for the Tabb family at Cliffe in the parish of Hemingbrough, Yorkshire.^[3]

Elizabeth married William Maw in 1856 in Wressell, Yorkshire,^[4][5] where the family lived in 1861.^[6] By 1881 they lived in Howden, Yorkshire.^[7][8][9]

Elizabeth died in 1903 at the age of 74.^[10]
