Biography

Charles was born 13 November 1862 in Key West, Florida,[1] He was the son of William Comfort Sands and Eliza Dillon.

He married Julia Essie McDonald on 26 December 1884 in Key West in a ceremony performed by Robert Martin, M.E. Church South.[2] The witnesses were W. H. Williams and E. F. Williams.

Charles died on 31 December 1925 in Key West,[3] and he is buried there in the City Cemetery.[4]
