Note: Somerset Herald||OCEAN PINES -- Lorraine Dillon Bialy, 85, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Satten and Eva Shumway Satten. Lorraine was the past president regional and vice president national for the board of directors of NSPRM. She was a member of PMA. She held the certified housing manager designation through the national centers for housing management. She was an active volunteer in the Ocean Pines community. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Dillon of Ocean Pines; four grandchildren, James Joseph Dillon III, Kelly Dillon, Jacqueline Dillon and Kathleen Dillon Karns and her husband, Paxton; three great-grandchildren, James Robert Dillon, James Joseph Dillon and Victoria Layla Dillon; cousins, Bert and Rona Raymond of Ocean Pines; and extended family members, Lisa and Donald Putnam and Patricia Schlottman. She was preceded in death by her son, James Joseph Dillon Jr. A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin, where family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Chaplain Gail Mansell will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. ^[2] She was living with her parents at 40 Chester Street in Allston, Mass. when the 1940 census was taken. She was 19 at the time and worked as a check girl at a cafe.
