Ann Purnell Savage was the daughter and co-hear, of Charles Savage, of Midsomer Norton (Somerset).[1] Her mother was probably Anne Purnell with their marriage noticed in the Parish Register for as " 1771 Apr 29; Charles SAVAGE, batchelor of Midsomer Norton, m. Anne (sgd. Ann) PURNELL spinster of this parish ".[2]
She married Daniel Wait, the third son of William Wait, of Belluton, and Elizabeth Wilshea.[3] It is from her that the estates of Woodborough pass into the Wait family.
