Biography

Polly (Mary) Savery was born on August 28, 1761 in Plymouth, Massachusetts, the daughter of Thomas Savery and Zilpha Barowes. ^[1]

She married Job Cole on November 30, 1780. ^[2] They had at least four children.

She died January 7, 1800 in Plymouth and was buried in Carver^[3]

Research Notes and Observations

• Town records give two death dates for "Mary Cole, w. of Job", Jan 27, 1798 in her 37th y. and 7 Jan 1800 a. 35 GRI.^[4]
• Gravestone shows the January 1800 date.
