Descendant of Jose Rafael Ignacio Bonventura Castille, a Revolutionary War Patriot.
Doris was born in 1924. She was the daughter of Rivers Savoie and Edna Bertrand.
Her parents were killed in an automobile accident in 1938. She was raised by her unmarried aunt, Euphemie (Mim) Bertrand. She was not formally adopted.
She passed away about 2019.
