Anna A. Schill was born August 17, 1908 in Dresden Township of Cavalier County to Albert and Genevefa (Koehmstedt) Schill.[1] She grew up in the Mt. Carmel area and worked for various farm families and cooking in the area. Her happiest time was when she made her first communion.
On June 23, 1931, she married Edmund Hoffarth at Mt. Carmel, ND. After their marriage they lived in West Hope Township, where they raised their family. On February 4, 1963, they moved in to Langdon. She took care of her mother and other elderly families and also worked at the St. Alphonsus School Cafeteria. Things she enjoyed were quilting, crocheting, and embroidery.Anna Hoffarth died at the age of 110 and 81 days at Langdon, Cavalier, North Dakota, United States.
