Biography

Margaretha (later known as Margaret) was born and baptised in Käfertal, Germany in 1820. ^[1]

She married her 2nd cousin 1xremoved, Jacob Löllbach (Lollback) in Käfertal in 1844^[2]

Margaret arrived in Sydney on 22nd March 1853. She was 30 yrs old. ^[3]

After Jacob's death she married John Mair in 1872.^[4]

John Mair died at 41yrs in the following year in November 1873.^[5]

Margaret married again to William Boyd in 1873. ^[6]

William Boyd died at 36yrs from an aortic aneurism on March 15, 1874. ^[7]

Not one for the single life, Margaret married for the fourth time in 1875 to William Kelly. ^[8]

William Kelly was gaoled for violent assault against Margaret in 1882 and he died in 1886. ^[9]

Margaret passed away in 1899. She is buried in the Grafton General Cemetery but her grave isn't marked and presumed washed away by floods. What a woman!!!^[10]
