Dean William Schlosser is the son of William and Grace Darling Draper Schlosser, who was born on a cold Nebraskan day in 1914.
He loses his dad when he is just two years old, and his mother takes him to live with his grandfather, Ira A. Draper, on the farm.
His mother works in homes, in kitchens and does some nursing to make ends meet.
Dean marries Amanda Bagwell in Mt. Vernon, Nebraska and they have a boy and a girl by this union.
