Biography

Theo was a Senator in Cape Town and was unmarried. He was both a philanthropist and parliamentarian. His niece Katie Harriet Rebecca Stuart, who came to live with him after her husband passed away, signed his death notice and was his soul heir. She had a grandson named Robert Maurice Pringle Stuart, his father William Hemming Stuart, Advocate of the Supreme Court, Cape Town.^[1] In 1901 he was a boarder living in England in Station Rd, Warlingham, Surrey and was a gospel and temperance lecturer.
