Clara Ann Schrimpf was born on December 9, 1897 in Wapakoneta, Ohio, to Frank Schrimpf and Johanna Drexler.[1] She married Harry Bernard Vanderhorst on April 30, 1919, with whom she had four sons.[2][3] She passed away on May 29, 1975 in St. Marys, Ohio.
