Tobias Schucker served with 6th Battalion, Berks County Militia, Pennsylvania Militia during the American Revolution.

Tobias Schucker is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A101148.
  • Ancestor of noted actor Robery Downey, Jr.[1]
  • 1780 joined the Berks Co. Militia[1]
  • A Private under Captain Conrad Shirman, in Colonel Joseph Hiester's 6th Battalion, Berks County Militia[2][3]
  • grew up speaking German. His will is written in German.
  • by the time of his death he owned 100 acres of land[1]
