Friederike was born in 1886. She was the daughter of Carl Schumacher and Frederike Loitz. She immigrated to Canada in 1886 from Germany with her parents and siblings. She married Friedrick Schuknecht on 29 July 1902 in Grey, Ontario. He worked as a mason. They had eight children in 1921 and two children, Viola and Percy, were born after 1921. They lived in Chesley, Ontario. Frieda passed away in 1960 in Elmwood, Ontario and was buried in Elwood Cemetery.
