Josef Heinrich Schöler was born on 2 April 1876 in Pye, Osnabrück, Hannover, Preußen, Deutsches Reich, son of Johann Bernhard Schöler (1822–1904) and Sophia (Busch) Schöler (1838–1898).^[1]
