In the 1840 census, Elizabeth's grandfather John Wilson Scott was living with them and enumerated as one of only two surviving Revolutionary War veterans (and pensioners) in Dewitt county. 10 children: Elizabeth S. b. 1834/5 d. 8 May 1843 Dewitt co.
