Biography

Joan was born in 1935 in Petersburg, Virginia. She was the daughter of Paul Scott and Frances Goodwyn.

When she was 20 she married Robert Whitney Harwell, Jr. in Colonial Heights, Virginia. They had one daughter together.

She passed away in 2009 in Augusta County, Virginia. Her burial site is unknown.
