Biography
Larkin Scroggins was the son of George S. Scroggins.
He married Sarah MNU about 1800 in Georgia.
Larkin was a Veteran of the War of 1812 and was granted Homestead Rights on what was once Indian Land as payment. Larkin and Sarah migrated to Mississippi about 1820, then onto Conway Co., Arkansas about 1830.
Larkin and Sarah were the parents of
1.Henson, b.12/12/1802, d.11/16/1860, he was married to Malinda "Lindy" Carpenter.
2.George Washington, b.1807, d.1850, he married Mary MNU.
3.William Welborn, b.1813, d.8/25/1879, he married Sarah MNU.
4.Larkin "Lark", b. 1815, d.bef 1880, he married Mary E. MNU.
5.Rhoda, b.1819, d.1863, she married Henry "Harry" Shipp,
6.John, b.1822, d. 1866, he married Mary Minerva "Nerva" Inglebright.
7.William F., b.1823, he married Mary Ann MNU.
8.Robert J., b.1824, 2/22/1876, he married 1, Roena Emmaline Sublett, 2.Elizabeth Caroline Sublett, 3.Martha Jane House.
9.Sarah "Sallie", b.1829, she married Owen Kennedy.
