Biography

Peter was born about 1804, in County Cork, Ireland.

In 1841, at age 36, Peter is a Coppersmith, living in Chatham Place, Newington, Surrey, England with his wife Sarah age 40, and their children, Sarah age 6 and Peter age 2.

In 1851, at age 45, Peter is a Coppersmith, living in Holland Street, Southwark, Surrey, with his wife Sarah age 50, and their children, James age 19, Sarah age 16 and Ann age 8.

In 1861, at age 55, Peter is a Coppersmith, living at 2 Shap Street, Shoreditch, MIddlesex, with his wife Sarah age 60, and their children, Mary age 27 and Ann age 18.

In 1871, at age 66, Peter is a Coppersmith, still living at 2 Shap Street, Shoreditch, with his wife Sarah age 71, and their daughter Ann age 28.

In 1881, at age 75, the widowed Peter is living in the Widdowson household, 57 Victoria Grove, Hornsey, MIddlesex, with his married daughter Mary age 47, Mary's husband Edward age 42, and their children, Mary age 16, Edward age 15, Peter and Marmaduke age 11, Sarah age 9, Ernest age 7 and Henry age 3. Peter's daughter Ann Selby age 38 is also living there.

He passed away between Jul-Sep in 1888, at the age of 84, and he is buried in Abney Park cemetery, Stoke Newington, London.
