Sam Senior was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.
Sam was born in 1897,[1] the son of Samuel Senior and Charlotte Priscilla Simcox.
Sam enlisted at Sheffield with the British Army and served as a Lance Corporal with the 7th Battalion, The King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry (Regimental Number 29733). He died of wounds in 1917, aged 20.[2][3][4]
